Puerto Maldonado - Custom Package

What to expect... Puerto Maldonado was founded in 1902 after the Peruvian explorer, Faustino Maldonado, who discovered this land. Just 10 years later, this city became the capital of the region. Located where the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers cross, some of the best soil is found in this area. Despite the discovery of gold on the shores in the late 1970s, this city has remained rather small with about 57,000 inhabitants. Here you'll experience a great and rather untouched rainforest with diverse nature and wildlife. Enjoy this unspoilt nature and the sounds of the forest.
