Get to know the Barrio Pablo Escobar and the parts of the city that are surrounded by the beatiful mountains. You'll reach them by cable cars. Afterwards you'll go to the modern part "El Poblado". Here the richer people of the city are living and enjoying a variety of leisure possibilities. Spend the rest of the day at the Milla de Ora or the Zona Rosa, where you can find cafés, restaurans and bars.

Day trip to Guatapé and Peñol
In 1954 the first human climed the Peñól de Guatape. Now 60 decades later, you can do that as well and enjoy the breathtaking views. If you climed the 740 steps between rock walls you'll see what we mean: green mountains and sparkling lakes will lie under your feet. In the colorful city Guatapé you can enjoy a lunch and relax after the exhausting hike.

Santa Fe de Antioquia
In the western Andes highlands the city of Santa Fe de Antioquia is located. It was founded in 1541 and became the capital of the state Antioquia 43 years later. Before visiting this little colonial town with all its narrow streets, you can visit one of the oldest rope bridges of Latin America. The way to this bridge leads you through the longest tunnel of Latin America.
