Itinerary

Welcome to the Bangkok! After checking in to your hotel you can choose to relax for a little while or start exploring the city. Here you'll find huge shopping malls, food stalls on every corner, markets, hundreds of cultural sights, and much more! We recommend checking out the Royal Palace, the Emerald Buddah, and some of the world's most beautiful temples: the Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, and the Wat Arun, an impressive temple with detailed ornamentation. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation
You have one more day to explore Bangkok before we take you to the next exciting destination. Go for a walk along Khaosan Road, also known as the ‘backpacker street’, or wander through the winding streets of Chinatown, past gold shops, food stalls, and markets. You might also want to visit the Siam Museum where you can learn about Thai history and culture. In the evening we recommend visiting a night market for dinner. There are many ways to get around Bangkok, including the Skytrain, buses, boats, tuk-tuks, conventional taxis, and on foot. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
In the morning we'll visit the famous floating market in Damnoen Saduak. Here you can buy fruit and souvenirs as you take a charming boat-ride through the canals. Next we'll go to spectacular Kanchanaburi and take a longtail boat (Floatel) to the floating Jungle Raft Hotel. In Kanchanaburi you can visit the famous River Kwai Bridge and the War Memorial Museum, which commemorates the fallen soldiers of World War II. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast / Dinner
After breakfast you'll take a boat to the beautiful Erawan Waterfalls, which are located in the nearby National Park (entrance optional). Be sure to pack your swimsuit so that you can walk through the spectacular sinter terraces and swim in the crystal-clear water. Here you'll also find a charming market with many food stalls where you can try local delicacies. Afterwards we'll drive you back to Kanchanaburi, where you'll spend another night. There you can take a lovely stroll through the town or along the river before enjoying a quiet evening at the hotel. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll head to spectacular Sukhothai, formerly a powerful Khmer settlement in the thirteenth century. Here you can still see the ancient city walls, temples, and a palace. The old part of the city is divided into five regions and there's plenty to see. The Wat Sri Chum temple, built in the 14th century, houses a huge Buddha statue and is well worth of a visit. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today your guide will take you on a bicycle tour through the Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The centre of Old Sukhothai is surrounded by a wall and contains the largest former royal temple in Thailand – the Wat Mahathat. In the north you'll find the Wat Phra Phai Luang, an impressive and ancient Khmer temple surrounded by a moat. Enjoy visiting a few of the most beautiful temples before we drive you back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you like. You're welcome to explore Sukhothai, enjoy a massage, or simply relax at the hotel. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
In the morning you can continue to explore Sukhothai. In the afternoon we'll take the public bus to Chiang Mai. The trip takes about six hours but it's very scenic. We'll drive by many beautiful mountains and lush plains with abundant flowers, fruits, and vegetables. After you've checked into your hotel you can head to the famous night bazaar for dinner. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation     Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you can explore Chiang Mai on foot or by bike. It's best to start with the old town inside the city walls and work your way out. In the late 15th to mid-16th century this was home to the 60 m high Wat Chedi Luang Samargd temple and the famous Buddah statue within it. Today this Buddah is found in Bangkok. The oldest temple in Chiang Mai is the beautiful Wat Chiang Man, which is also well worth a visit. The Wat Chiang Man houses the sparkling Crystal Buddha, which is carried through the streets during the Songkran festival to bring rain. Chiang Mai has so much going on, just take a walk and you’re sure to discover something!  Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you can relax and a enjoy a massage, or go explore the lively Warorot market. Just outside the centre of the city there's the remarkable Wat Jet Yot temple, which was built in the late 15th century. We also recommend visiting the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, one of the most important temples outside the city. You'll also have a spectacular view of the surrounding area from this temple. If you’re a nature or fitness enthusiast then you may wish to book the optional hike that starts today. This overnight hike will take you through some of the most beautiful natural spaces in Thailand! If you'd like to participate in the hike, please let us know when you book. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
If you chose not to participate in the hike then you'll spend today in Chiang Mai. If you decide to take our cooking class (optional) we'll take you to the market to help you shop, and then we'll show you how to cook three or four meals. If you'd prefer something a bit more thrilling, then you can also ride the "Flight of the Gibbon" Zipline through the lush jungle canopy. You may also decide to take a day trip to the nearby elephant park. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
There's lots to see and do in charming Chiang Mai. Today you can relax at your hotel, visit a spa for a famous Thai massage, or take one final leisurely stroll through the city-streets. If you haven't already done so, then you should most definitely take a Songthaew ride through town. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the station, where you'll board the night train back to Bangkok. The journey takes about 13 hours. Unterkunft im  Overnight Accommodation on a Night Train   Verpflegung:  Breakfast
Today you'll wake up in Bangkok! We'll take you to your hotel and then you can spend the rest of the day as you see fit. We recommend going to visit the lesser known Wat Saket temple, an impressive structure which can be reached via a spiral path. From here you'll have one of the most beautiful views of Bangkok. You can go see an authentic Khon drama at the National Theatre or browse the National Gallery. There are also numerous places to go shopping. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation
Today you can admire the city as you take the river taxi along the Chao Phraya. Relax at your hotel, enjoy some food and drink at a restaurant, or explore the Dusit museums. There are also a few historical buildings in the area that are well worth seeing, including the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. In the evening we'll board another night train that will take us to Surat Thani, the ‘city of good people’. This journey will take about twelve hours. Unterkunft imOvernight Accommodation on a Night Train    Verpflegung: Breakfast
When we arrive in Surat Thani you'll take the ferry to the lovely island of Ko Pha Ngan, and then you'll take the bus to your hotel. The next day you can relax and enjoy the sun on beautiful, palm-lined, sandy beaches. Ko Pha Ngan is the fifth largest island in Thailand and it's located just a few kilometres north of Koh Samui. It's famous for its full moon parties hosted on Hat Rin beach. People from around the world come here to enjoy the outdoor rave. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation
Koh Pha Ngan is very hilly. Approximately three-quarters of the island is covered with tropical rainforest and, therefore, a substantial amount of it is protected by conservation laws. There are some small hidden beaches that are only accessible by boat, and some more well-developed public beaches to explore. The waters to the northwest of the island are ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the waters at the south end of the island are more suitable for surfing and jet skiing. You may also choose to take a ferry to Koh Tao and dive there, or explore Ko Pha Ngan by bicycle. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you can visit some of the many small temples on the island. You should also go see the spectacular Than Sadet waterfall (closed from October - December). The resorts in the area also offer a variety of international dishes if you’re starting to feel anxious for a taste of home. This is the perfect time to rest and recover from the last few days. You can relax on the beach, swim, read a book, take a Songthaew around the island, and more! There are many idyllic beaches to discover here, great places to buy souvenirs, and lots of tasty restaurants. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
We'll spend the next few days relaxing in paradise. Today you'll head to the island of Koh Samui, which is just south of the neighbouring island of Koh Pha Ngan. Take the songthaew and the ferry to this vacation paradise. There are many comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation options and a wide range of entertainment and leisure activities on this tiny island. In Koh Samui you can watch traditional buffalo fighting. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beach or relaxing at the hotel. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Koh Samui has a total of 26km of beautiful sandy beach. The two main beaches are Chaweng and Lamai, which are found on the east coast, but there are also plenty of smaller, even more peaceful beaches all around the island. The most iconic monument in the area is the 12m high golden Buddha on the small island of Koh Fan, housed in the elaborately decorated Wat Plai Laem Temple. In the Wat Khunaram Temple you can see a mummified monk who died about 30 years ago, and at the Wat Samret Temple you can visit a Buddha statue made of white jade. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you must bid farewell to the dreamy island of Koh Samui. In the morning you'll have time to spend at the beach, surf, swim, or enjoy a few hours in the spa. In the afternoon the bus will take you to the capital Nathon. There you'll catch the ferry back to Surat Thani, where you'll board the night train to Bangkok. Unterkunft im Overnight Accommodation on a Night Train     Verpflegung:  Breakfast
Your last day in Thailand has begun. If you still have some time before your return flight then you can see a few more sights in Bangkok. You must then bid farewell to your fellow travellers and go to the airport. Have a safe journey home and come back again soon! If you'd like to extend your stay, then we're happy to help you do so. We can also drive you to the airport (optional transfer).
