On your journey, you will discover beautiful colonial cities, fascinating Mayan structures and remarkable geological formations, such as the caves of Loltun. The tour ends in peaceful Playa del Carmen, where you are able to relax on the beautiful Caribbean beach, which will be necessary after your active adventure. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Playa del Carmen
Welcome to sunny Mexico! Today you will arrive at your frist hotel. Settle in and relax on the beach or start exploring the city. We will gladly arrange your transporation from the airport to your accommodation.

Day 2: Playa del Carmen – Cozumel – Playa del Carmen
After breakfast you will meet your guide at 8 am at the hotel's reception. We will take the ferry to the island of Cozumel, one of the most visited islands in the world. Previously a pilgrimage place of the Maya, today it is known as a paradise for divers. We will bike from the ferry dock to Chankanaab Park. Relax on one of the beautiful Carribean beaches (entrance to the park is optional).

Day 3: Playa del Carmen – Valladolid – Chichén Itzá
Today you will drive to Valladolid by bus (approx. 2 hours). Within a city tour you will get to know the colonial buildings and the impressive cathedral San Servacio, built in 1706. From here we will cycle to the fascinating ruins of the Mayan city, Chichén Itzá.

Day 4: Chichén Itzá – Izamal
TToday we will visit two different Mayan towns. In the morning you will be guided through the ruins of Chichén Itzá, which in 1988 have been declared to be a UNESCO world cultural heritage. The city developed for over 1000 years and was a centre of Mayan culture. We will continue our way to Izamal - first by bus and then by bike until we reach the 'yellow city' where we will visit the San Antonio de Padua Monastery.

Day 5: Izamal – Merida
Today you will cycle through interesting Mayan villages to the Cuzama Cenotes. After exploring these remarkable underwater cavelike formations, where you can swim, snorkel and dive, we will travel to Merida, the the capital of Yucatán, by bus.

Day 6: Mérida - Free Day
There are no activities scheduled for today so it's the perfect opportunity to relax or go on an optional excursion, for instance to the Celestún National Park, which will be enchanting for bird lovers. Explore the city, experience the vivid Mexican culture and enjoy the impressive architecture combining colonial with modern style.

Day 7: Mérida - Sian Kaan - Tulum
Start your day by biking from Merida back to the Riviera Maya, where we will visit the historic ruins of Tulum - the only Mayan site located directly at the sea side. Before hitting the road again on your bike you can take your time to have lunch in the town of Tulum. The coastal highway takes us to our next stop: The biosphere reserve Sian Ka'an. At Boca Paila, a beautiful beach on our way, you can relax for a while and sunbathe. Afterwards we will leave the National Park and the bus will take us from the entrance of the park to our hotel.

Day 8: Departure
