Santiago de Cuba is undoubtedly one of the liveliest, most diverse and beautiful cities in Cuba. This city is the capital of music and the Cuban Revolution. As it's located between the Caribbean Sea and the highest mountain range in Cuba, we guarantee that you will not be bored here. Itinerary
Today you'll be arriving in Santiago de Cuba. As this city has no international airport, we recommend starting your Cuban tour either in Holguin or Havana. From Havana, you can even book a smaller domestic flight to Santiago de Cuba. During your stay here, you can choose if you want to stay in a hotel with included meals or a Casa Particular, allowing you to get a better glimpse into the lives of Cubans.

Hotel Casa Grana / Casa Particular Today you'll have a city tour of Santiago. You'll also visit the Moncada Barracks, where the Cuban revolution began in 1953. Due to this, July 26 has become a national holiday in Cuba. Another site on your tour is the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, which is a Cuban National Monument. Many heroes of the independence wars and the Cuban revolution were buried here. Hotel Casa Granda / Casa Particular

If you are wanting to walk in the footsteps of revolutionaries, we recommend Sierra Maestra or historically significant Baracoa. Those wanting to enjoy the beach will enjoy Playa Pesquero.
