The Wonders of the Caribbean: Cuba and Mexico Group Tour will take you on an exploration of two amazing countries. In Cuba, you’ll visit the famous tobacco plantations in the Viñales Valley and the famous colonial towns of Trinidad and Cienfuegos. Then, in Mexico, you can truly see ancient history as you explore the Mayan ruin cities of Tulum and Chichen Itza. In between city tours and sightseeing, you’ll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beaches.

Wonders of the Caribbean - Cuba and Mexico Group Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Cuba! Today you will arrive at Havana international airport. We can pick you up and drive you to the hotel for you (optional) or you can organise transportation yourself.
4* Hotel in Havana
Your tour guide will meet you in reception at 8:30am and you will have a guided walking tour through Havana's Old Town. The Old Town of Havana was declared a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1982. While strolling through the vibrant streets of the Cuban capital you can reminisce about days gone by. Look forward to visiting the Havana Club Rum Museum and driving through the "modern" part of Havana in the back of a classic car.

After breakfast you will head westward. You will stop and visit a "Casa del Veguero" (house of a tobacco farmer) surrounded by lush tobacco fields in the famous Vinales Valley. You will also visit the "Cueva del Indio". Vinales is a small town situated between green tobacco fields and monumental limestone formations called 'Mogotes'.

Today you will head to sunny Cienfuegos. Cienfuegos is one of the liveliest and most beautiful cities in Cuba. On your way, you will stop at the Bay of Pigs where you will go on a boat tour of the Laguna del Tresoro. This so-called 'Treasure Lake' is located amid numerous canals, mangrove forests and palm trees. Once you have arrived in Cienfuegos you can spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Today’s journey will bring you to Trinidad. A colonial city which was founded in 1514 and declared world heritage site by the UNESCO. On your way to Trinidad you will go on an enjoyable excursion to El Cubano Park, which is located in the National Park of Topes de Collantes. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

Start your day with a guided walking tour of exciting Trinidad. There is lots to see in the colonial old town of Trinidad, including the Palacio Brunet, one of the most beautiful palaces of the city. Today, the Palacio Brunet is home of the Museo Romantico. In the afternoon you will go on an excursion to the beach where you can enjoy the Caribbean Sea and relax under palm trees.

In the morning you will head back to Havana. On the way, you will stop in Santa Clara, where you will visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum. Here rest the remains of the famous revolutionist, which were only found a few years ago.

It's time to bid farewell to beautiful Cuba. You will be driven to the airport for your flight to Cancun. Your guide will meet you and take you to the hotel in Chichen Itza.

You will visit the archeological site Chichen Itza and learn a lot about the community of Maya, its architecture, customs and, of course, about the mysterious demise. After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage site it's on to Izamal, a quiet colonial town that has been declared a "Pueblo Magico" (magical place). This is in recognition of authenticity and beauty. . Once you have arrived in Mérida you will go and discover the city and spend the night in Hotel Dolors Alba Mérida.

Mérida is not only the largest city in Yucatan, but also the cultural center of the region. Spend the day as you wish. There's lots to do, but we recommended visiting the Uxmal ruins, (one of the most visited Maya heritage sites), exploring the famous Cuzuma Cenotes, or going on an excursion to the Celestun national park. Spend another night in Hotel Dolors Alba Mérida.

Today you will drive to Valladolid, a colonial city, which is also classified as a "Pueblo Mágico“. During a guided city tour of this extraordinary city you will be shown the highlights. Valladolid is sure to enchant you.

Today you will go to the beautiful cliffside Maya city of Tulum. There is a spectacular view of the ocean from this archaeological site. Take this opportunity to relax and enjoy the idyllic Caribbean coast.

Today's destination is Playa del Carmen. Spend the whole day at the beach if you like, swimming or relaxing in the shade. You can enjoy the evening in one of the town's various bars and enjoy a typical Mexican drink.

Spend your last day entirely as you wish. Relax at the beach, go shopping or pick up some final souvenirs for friends and family at home. In the evening you will enjoy a delicious Mexican dinner at one of the town's many delicious restaurants.

Today your Cuba and Mexico tour ends. Spend the morning at your leisure before heading you have to leave. We can arrange a transfer car service (optional) to the international airport of Cancun or to your next hotel.
