Itinerary
Welcome to Cuba! You will arrive in Holguin airport. We can arrange your transfer to your accommodation (optional) for you or you can organise transport yourself.

Hotel in Holguin, 3* Standard In the morning you will meet your guide and start your trip to Baracoa. About 30 km before you reach Baracoa you will stop at Playa Maguna. Here you can swim in the ocean and relax on the beach. You may seize the opportunity to have lunch (optional). After a relaxing time you will continue to Baracoa, Cubas first capital city.

Casa Particular in Baracoa Breakfast Today you will go on an easy hike in the Humboldt Nationalpark, where you can discover the biodiversity of the flora and fauna. In the afternoon you will get to know Baracoa during a city tour. You will learn more about the history of Baracoa, in which Christopher Columbus plays an important role.

Casa Particular in Baracoa Lunch The day starts early as it will take some time to get to Santiago de Cuba. You will pass the famous street La Farola and take a road along the ocean with beatiful views. At the Guantanamo View Point you will stop to catch a look at the military base of the US army. In Santiago de Cuba you will go on a city tour and see the Moncada Museum, the Castillo and the cemetery Santa Ifigenia (entrances optional). In the evening you will have dinner at a Paladar.

Hotel in Santiago de Cuba, 3* Standard Dinner You may spend the morning in Santiago as you wish for example to explore the city or relax at the pool. In the early afternoon you will continue to Sierra Maestra with a stop at the church El Cobre. You will have dinner at the hotel. Hotel Santo Domingo, 2* Standard Breakfast, Dinner
Hotel Santo Domingo, 2* Standard Breakfast, Dinner Todays hiking tour starts at the Alto de Naranjo. From here you will go on a hike to the Comandancia de la Plata. During the cuban revolution Fidel and his fellows found shelter here. Enjoy the beautiful nature and discover the history of this place. After lunch at the hotel the journey will continue to Niquero. There is the possibility to do a stop at a beach on the way, if you're interested please feel free to ask your guide. Hike: approx. 3 hours (easy)

Hotel in Niquero, 2* Standard Breakfast, Lunch Today you will go on your next hike. This time in the Nationalpark Desembarco del Granma. This mountain range was important during the Cuban Revolution. You can still see the buildings, built by Fidel and his squad. Hike: approx. 3-4 hours (medium)

Casa Particular in Bayamo Breakfast, Lunch The journey continues to Camagüey. You will walk through the beautiful old town and discover its particularity: big clay jars, standing in the entrances. This served to store drinking warter. Some of them are almost a meter high.

Casa Particular in Camagüey By bus you will continue from Camagüey to Trinidad, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities of Cuba. On a city tour you get to know the colorful colonial city. You will walk along the carless streets with colorful houses and feel as if time stands still. There are a lot of architectural treasures and sights, too many to mention them all. We recommend a visit to the Canchanchara Bar, famous for its local speciality: honey liqueur.

Casa Particular in Trinidad Your bus will bring you to the Parque Banao Sabina where you will go on a hiking tour. The hiking will be a bit adventurous as you will cross a river on rocks various times but at the end you will be rewarded with a swim at a beautiful waterfall. So don't forget to bring your swimming suits. Afterwards return to Trinidad, rest of the day free time. Hike: approx. 2-3 hours (medium)

Casa Particular in Trinidad The National Park Topes de Collantes is situated in the mountain range Sierra de Escambray. You will hike along the Guanayara Trail: rivers, underground cave systems, lakes and waterfalls are typical for the landscape. Besides your tour guide a local guide will go with you on this hike. He will explain a lot about the interesting flora and fauna of the region. Afterwards you will continue to Cienfuegos. Hike: approx. 5 hours (Medium-hard) Casa Particular in Cienfuegos

Casa Particular in Cienfuegos Lunch The journey will continue to Cubas capital city but you will stop in Santa Clara on the way. You will do y city tour and visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum and the Tren Blindado Monument.

Casa Particular in Havana Today is your second last day of your Cuba Tour. On a city tour you will explore the old town of Cubas capital city, Havana. You will have lunch together for the last time.

- *Casas Particulares are private houses of Cuban locals, who offer rooms to tourists. On request they are happy to cater you with a delicious breakfast (5-6 CUC) or even a lunch and dinner (10-12 CUC each). Let them know at your arrival.
